10 Simple Habits of the Average Millionaire

Have you ever wondered what the average millionaire might incorporate into their daily living?

Based on a Dave Ramsey article, there are some valuable habits we could incorporate into our lifestyle that would help propel us forward on our path to financial freedom.

For example, one of the reasons millionaires become millionaires is because of their constant desire to learn.  They are avid readers! Leadership books, biographies, and motivational books help inspire changes and new behaviors.

They have learned that temporary sacrifices are worth it for the long-term gain.  Delayed gratification just sweetens the success!

Relationships are important, they choose their friends wisely. We’ve all heard, and perhaps learned, that we become who we hang around with. Friends and family are some of our biggest influencers. Build a network of supportive friends and mentors who help with career growth and building wealth.

It may sound simple, but they live below their means, and they have an emergency fund. Unexpected expenses can send your finances into a tailspin.  Planning now for that emergency down the line will help ensure you stay on track to hit your long-term goals.

The average millionaire is generous.  They work hard, save, and they recognize the value in investing in others by giving.

And one of the under-utilized wealth building tools is the employer-sponsored retirement plan!  Yes, the 401k is simple and effective.  Being consistent year over year is one of the top ways millionaires become millionaires!
