Here’s an overview of how it works:

  1. Download our free Mobile App
  2. After logging-in, select “Deposit Checks” from home screen.
  3. If you’re a first-time Mobile Check Deposit user, accept the Disclosure and Agreement so that your initial registration may be submitted for approval. Once approved, you will skip this step for future deposits.
  4. Select an account for your deposit.
  5. Enter the check amount.
  6. Take a picture of the front and back of your check.
  7. Make sure the back is endorsed with your signature and the words “for mobile deposit.”
  8. Select “Deposit Check” to complete the transaction.
  9. Choose your preferred method of confirmation, and retain check until cleared.

How It Works:

Step 1 For Apple Pay, add your TFCU card to Apple Pay using your Passbook app.

For Android Pay, download the app here and follow the prompts to register your TFCU card.

For Samsung Pay, download the app here and follow the prompts to register your TFCU card.

Step 2 At the point of sale, place your phone near the merchant’s card reader to authorize your payment.

Step 3 For Apple Pay and Android Pay, you can also pay with your fingerprint in select merchant apps.

Enrollment for Text Message Banking is easy

  1. Sign in to Online Banking from your computer.
  2. Click on My Profile (formerly User Options) in the top navigation, then the Alerts & Notifications link. The Activate button launches the quick and easy three step enrollment process.
  3. Enter your mobile phone number.
  4. Review and select the Terms and Conditions checkbox.
  5. Enter the activation code sent to your phone in the box provided.
  6. Select your primary account, and you’re done!

SMS Text Message Banking

  • Offers low balance alert texts with customizable balance threshold**
  • Once activated, users can text a series of keywords to 454545 to retrieve everything from balances to transaction history
    • BAL = Primary account balance – as designated in Online Banking
    • BAL SAV = Savings account balances
    • BAL CHK = Checking account balances
    • BAL ALL = All account balances
    • LAST = Last five transactions on primary account
    • TRANS = Transfer funds from a transfer source account to the primary account***
    • HELP = Info about commands and using the service
    • STOP = Deactivate the service
