TFCU offers foreign currency exchange for members planning to travel. You can order your currency ahead of time, and it will be delivered within the usual processing period. After your trip, you may be able to exchange certain foreign currencies back to U.S. dollars, depending on what’s available and the current rates.
Please note:
- Foreign currency is not available for same-day exchange at the counter.
- Advance ordering is required.
- The rate for buying and selling back currency may be different from when you first bought it.
- We cannot exchange coins.
- Foreign currency services are intended for travel-related purposes and not investments
