On April 21, 2006, the National Credit Union Administration approved TFCU as a "Community Chartered" credit union. Our change to a "Community Charter" allows us to serve anyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in Pima County and their immediate families and household members.
An immediate family member includes a spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren of anyone who is a member or eligible for membership. This also includes stepparents, stepchildren, step siblings, and adoptive relationships.
A household is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.
In order to open a personal account at TFCU, you must meet the above criteria. In order to open a business account, your business must operate in Pima County.
